nevermind, i2c works fine. I wasn't supplying voltage to the servo properly.

i2cdetect -y 0 shows my device at address 0x40 ( a PCA9685 based board )

But my servo doesn't respond on any channels.

npi-config shows me this when I try to enable i2c:

"Unsupported fire3 with Linux=4.4.49-s5p6818"

Does i2c work on the Fire3?
