I have a CM3588 with 16Tb nvMe configured with RAID5, however, it's been operating really well and I haven't logged into it for a long whiule now and have forgotten both Admin and Root passwords.

Is there a way I can boot from SD or USB to a basic Debian CLI so I can reset the passwords?

I am assuming you have a CM3588 board? I have the same problem. There doesn't seem to be a way to boot a basic OS directly from USB, to attend to other issues that may be on the nvMe storage.
