Hi, sorry .. to be clear .. even if the bootable eMMC is *not* installed, I cannot get it to boot from those images. Would prefer to be using the friendlyelec images, for sure

This is on a nanopi M4 .. no button. However, even with the eMMC out, it still won't boot from those images. I did get it to boot the armbian images from here https://www.armbian.com/nanopi-m4/

I cannot get rk3399-sd-friendlycore-bionic-4.4-arm64-20180921.img to boot either.

What am I missing?

Have downloaded ... rk3399-sd-friendlydesktop-bionic-4.4-arm64-20180921.img.zip, unzipped and then written to sd with win32diskimager .. When I try to boot on the resulting sd card ..
