Can you power the NanoPi Duo2 with the 5V In/Out pin and a ground instead of using the USB input?

I don't want to use the USB jack to power the NanoPi so can I use the 5V In/Out and Ground pin to power the unit? Just making sure thats OK. I searched for backpowering the unit but could not find any information on that. Also is there going to be a version of the adapter card with a 4G or 3G cell m...
