I have seen that it's possible to boot from nmve via emmc or ssd. But i have also done some reading. Here's my wild guess's. Yes! I can confirm it works , i installed mine & got wifi working by updating & upgrading via armbian config (and a usb wifi stick. Much faster than any other distro so far , my only problem & i think i am probably doing something wrong is vnc. So used to the ease of RPI i have forgotten...
