Just bought the NAS dock and NanoPi NEO2. Installed a hard drive. To access the hard drive, do I have to use the Debian Jessie with NAS support or can I just use Ubuntu Core? I don't care about the NAS software. I just want to manage the hard disk myself.

Just booted up nanopi-neo2_debian-nas-jessie_4.11.2_20170630.img but can't find my hard drive. Used "df" and "fdisk -l" and they only how the two partitions on the microSD card.

Where shall I check? How do I make sure the NEO 2 hat is securely installed?
