Power & Source of Big Ideas

Hi, I seem to be having some issues getting an IP address form my NanoPi M1 when hooked up via the RJ45 network to my computer...sometimes it seems to work, but often I get no IP address which will allow me to get an SSH system working, can you please advise on how to get this working?
thank you

Thank you, these do work, though there are a few minor issues that will hopefully resolve soon.
thanks, the M1 does boot to 1080p but the Pi2 and M2 boot to 720p I will try to change it now.

What are the passwords for Debian, it seems to be root/fa can you confirm?
Thank you they are on the google drive now.
Thanks, but the M1 only has one slot. Ah but I see what you mean, use my Pi2 to create the M1's disk..yes that could be clever. I managed to find a walk through on line, which finally got the drive re sized and solved some issues. Would still like to have some details on passwords for each of the im...
In case anyone else needs to know the M1 has Mali 400MP GPU and drivers on the img..

I don't know for sure about the others but I will try these drivers on the Pi2 and M2 and see if they work, when I have a bit of time.
I got a little further, this time using an 8G card I was able to follow instructions http://gleenders.blogspot.nl/2014/08/banana-pi-resizing-sd-card-root.html on how to resize...attempts to do this with 16G and 32G cards simply failed to write.. it is now resized...I have SSH access and my wifi was ...
Well I know that its a brand new machine, so, I'm honestly not expecting it to work right away, but my first experience is disappointing... Can I point something out, not everyone is a Linux guru.. I'm a professional games developer, so I have worked with odd OS's but I've never ever touched Linux, ...
Could you please provide a walk through on how to resize the partition on the M1 image I found on Media Fire There is no info on the M1 Wiki page, and the walk through described on the M2 wiki process DOES NOT WORK! I realize that the unit is very new, and accept some stumbles to begin with, but ple...

I use 2nd sd card slot for media, so I can switch between many SD cards with 1. movies 2. music 3. files/documents.
Its mostly external storage.

ok thanks
Hi, sorry for all the questions, perhaps you should add them to your wiki? How do I change the screen res on the Debian build, I have 720p and I want 1080p Are there any OpenGLES2.0 libs installed on the M1/M2/Pi2? What is the SSH passwords for connecting with VisualGDB NanoPi2/fa does not work Hope...
how do I get past this?

Image
ah it seems to have found it, but I cannot seem to switch user so that I can run sudo, it refuses to resolve fa@nanoPi2

attempting to switch user causes a hang.

Can anyone help, I'm not a linux coder and have no idea how to resolve this
I cannot locate the password for the Debian Image for M2
user is fa but fa123456 does not work, making it impossible for me to resize partition
There appears to be no M1 images on the link, please add them.
I received mine today, but sadly no sign of the Debian images on googledrive??
Hi
I can't seem to locate the M1 images. I found NanoPi2 images and they work find on my M2 and Po2 but not on the M1, the wiki says I need nanopi-m1-debian-sd4g.img.zip
which is not on the googledrive download

thanks in advance
Sorry if this is obvious, but I've not managed to set up my new Nano Pi's yet and will try to do so later this week, but I was just curious what the 2nd SD card does on the Nano Pi2 ?
Now that I have take delivery of my Nano Pi M1,M2 and Pi2, I would really love to know for sure what the drivers are for the GPU?

Can anyone help
Looks like fun, I ordered 2
Hello Serge this is very useful information, but I just want to check that the nano Pi's are actually using Mali GPU, I am finding it hard to get information on the GPU itself. I do find it strange that the current builds of Debian are not using GPU acceleration, it must cause a massive drop in perf...
Good day to you all My name is Brian Beuken, I'm currently writing a book on the development of games using OpenGL ES2.0 on SBC computers. I recently ordered a couple of NanoPi models so that I can include them in my research. Most SBC's use fairly standard drivers, but It would be very helpful if s...
ummm what a strange and sweeping statement to make? All Brits are hypocrites? hmmmm no...some, but not all.

I appreciate English is not your first language, so its hard to actually understand the point you are making.
