Looks like i'm having a different booting problem Random boot - never a dull moment - never twice the same.. but some patterns Most of the time as read-only Always the 1st time after i created the sd image - Xorg cannot start Some other times i get the desktop but nothing on it - just black However...
Really sorry for this. We are really behind. We will update our wiki for M1 soon. The M1's Debian image defaults to 1080P60. The boot section's script directory has multiple script.bin files for various resolutions. For example if you need 720P60 please do it this way: # in TF card boot partition cp...
Hi , if you used an X710 you can press either the menu button or the home button to activate the LCD again. If you use another 7"LCD you can modify Android's code to make it always on however we haven't studied this topic.
The 1G RAM model will come soon. We are working on it.
Now the M1 can work with CAM500A only under Debian ============= Sorry everything I made a mistake here: M1 doesn't work with CAM500A. I wanted to write M1 can work with CAM202 only under Debian.
Hi Dave, we tried your way and failed too. We did "sudo arm-linux-gcc -v" and got "sudo: arm-linux-gcc: command not found" We haven't found out the root cause. What we usually do is to login the system and open a gnome-termnial and swtich to root and then begin to do all the stuf...

I would like to know if NanoPi2 Fire has MFC available as in Exynos family. --- This is supported in Android. The VPU source code is available however we didn't integrate it into Debian system Another question is about Mali GPU, which Mali GPU is on NanoPi2 Fire? T6xx or 400/450? (i could not find a...
Sorry for this issue. We have been trying to upload these OS images to a stable web space for international users however we didn't succeed. We are still working on it.
Hi We don't have much experience in it with Debian. Samsung has some OpenGL libraries however it doesn't have much support for this nor does it have detailed steps or instructions on how to use the libraries. We haven't studied this topic very much.
Hi Sorry this function might not be supported in NanoPi. In order for this function to be supported uboot, kernel and hardware all need to be configured and setup. The hardware doesn't support this function and we didn't specifically test the uboot and kernel for this function either.
Hi currently the HD700 by default is in portrait mode and other 7" and 10.1"LCDs are in landscape mode. However we didn't study this very much. There might be some environmental variables that specify its display mode.
Users can access the LED on the NanoPi 2 by accessing "/sys/class/leds/led1" Here are the commands to turn on/off the LED echo none > /sys/class/leds/led1/trigger echo 255 > /sys/class/leds/led1/brightness # On echo 0 > /sys/class/leds/led1/brightness # Off Here are the commands to set the...
Hi our engineers encountered this issue too however in our test it happened twice or three times at most in every 100 seconds. Each time when it happened it recovered promptly. It didn't happen so often. Could you give us more details about the changes you made?
Yes you can do it that way. However since the Pi 2 doesn't have a power management unit even after you configure it as a power button it cannot really shut down the power. Pressing it can shut down the system but the power is still on.

Hi we don't have a CE image ready for the NanoPi. However since the NanoPi and our 2451 boards use the same SoC you may try our 2451's CE6 image on the NanoPi. We have 2451 CE6's BSP too. You may try making a CE6 image from our BSP.
Some users asked us about steps to setup a Qt development for the NanoPi 2. We found a very good post from a Chinese forum http://bbs.ickey.cn/group-topic-id-63399.html Here is our translation for that post. All the following pictures and steps are quoted from that post. Please try the following com...
Hi we tested this function in both Android and Debian and it worked. I would suggest you try it this way: start Debian and login as root and try the commands again. If it still doesn't work you may post all the messages here and we will check for you.
