The schematic for both NanoPi2 boards mentions I2S, but I don't see how it is routed to a connector where I can get to it. Is I2S accessible on either NanoPI2 board?

Sorry I2S is not supported in NanoPi 2

Too bad. It would have made it a nice board. But in that case, you probably should rethink the sentence :

GPIO: 40 pin GPIO pin header, compatible with Raspberry Pi’s GPIO pin header

It's misleading in that people will expect the headers to be compatible, including i2s etc.
