Moderators: chensy, FATechsupport

Today I just got the NanoPi-NEO2 it's nice. Put a 128GB SD card in it. Looks like no sound on it. I solder wires to it's round and left and right.

Here is what it looks like:

Code: Select all

aplay: device_list:268: no soundcards found...

Why does it say no soundcards found?

Any way to fix this?

Looks like I have to be root to use the aplay command.

Code: Select all

pi@NanoPi-NEO2:~$ sudo aplay -l
[sudo] password for pi:
**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
card 0: audiocodec [audiocodec], device 0: SUNXI-CODEC sun50iw2codec-0 []
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 1: sndhdmi [sndhdmi], device 0: SUNXI-HDMIAUDIO sndhdmi-0 []
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 2: sndspdif [sndspdif], device 0: SUNXI-SPDIF spdif-hifi-0 []
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
pi@NanoPi-NEO2:~$

Just found that out.
