I am attempting to get an electret microphone connected to the audio jack of the nanopi M2A board working.
I'm running Debian Jessie and audio using Alsa only.
Linux 3.4.39-s5p4418 #3 SMP PREEMPT Fri Aug 18 14:06:40 HKT 2017 armv7l GNU/Linux

I can get the mic to sort of work by fiddling with the controls, but it sounds horrible.
I have ADC turned all the way up,
ALC Capture Attack is turned all the way up.
Input PGA is turned all the way up.
I can record noise, but it sounds like 1 bit ADC - no range.
Anyone got mic recording working through the audio jack?
