Hello there,
I am wondering about investing in nanoPi S2 for camera applications (CAM500B or USB camera). I would like to use the Ubuntu Core image, as it is going to be a headless device.
I have never used the Ubuntu Core images. I have two questions regarding it:
Looking at the wiki page of the ubuntu core ( http://wiki.friendlyarm.com/wiki/index. ... un_Qt_Demo ), I cannot find anything about camera. Are there all necessary drivers provided in order to capture pictures and stream videos in this particular image?
As I read a bit about Ubuntu Core, it introduces something called "snaps". I would like to use it just because it is minimal though. Can I still use it as a regular linux distribution (writing simple user space apps) or are there any restrictions for that?

I would appreciate all help!
