mmc timeouts affecting wifi connectivity

Moderators: chensy, FATechsupport

I keep seeing timeout errors in dmesg about talking to the wifi hardware via mmc. This seems to be affecting wifi connectivity (sporadic pings, varying response times, inability to keep a tcp session open.

[ 336.888816] mmc1: Timeout waiting for hardware interrupt.

This seems to have been happening more and more pretty recently :/ the device gets worse and worse until it seems to just drop off the network entirely

Running my own build of the FA kernel 4.1.2-gothack-nanopi (mostly usb gadget customisations).

Any ideas?
Hi our engineers encountered this issue too however in our test it happened twice or three times at most in every 100 seconds. Each time when it happened it recovered promptly.
It didn't happen so often.
Could you give us more details about the changes you made?
I also see something similar happening on the standard Debian build as well. I will document some of the error messages.
