Power On/off with external push button?

Hello

The small button on the board allows to start and shut down the device.

If I build an enclosure for the Fire 3, I might need to add a switch located somewhere else in the box.

Is there a way to do that? Via the GPIO maybe?

Hi. I use a cable with a power button for that. Simple and easy. Greetings
