Linux 4.x support for NanoPi M3?

I see that the FriendlyARM git account also has a Linux 4.1 repo. Can this kernel be used with the M3? Does it have proper support for everything that the 3.4 kernel does?

No, it's not for the NanoPi M3, but for H3 boards.

The 6818 SoC manufacturer said they would provide 4.x within one month, then we'll have to check it first.

Can you please indicate to us, what kernel repository is used for the FriendlyCore-Xenial-4.4-20171109.img image ?
I see only linux-3.4 but not a 4.4.

Can you please inform us what is the 4.4 linux kernel repository used in that image?
