NanoPI NEO custom image dead

Moderators: chensy, FATechsupport

Dear Sirs and Madams!

I am trying to build custom image (I need very minimal kernel with low latency performance) for NanoPI NEO and therefore I have been following Make Your Own OS section of tutorial. I've succesfully configured and compiled kernel, I've done it many times before for other microprocessors, I've followed Manual Build HOWTO and when I power up NanoPI NEO with inserted micro sd card with new kernel, I get no activity on /dev/ttyUSB0. I am aware blue LED should blink, but only green LED turns on (power). What am I doing wrong?
If you change the kernel configuration, you'd better recompile the kernel module and update to the rootfs.
I did recompile kernel, moreover, without errors and uImage is created:

I was looking at the dates of files creation it consists with build process task end.
