Hi,
I would like to buy a Nanopi Neo 2 to run image nanopi-neo2_debian-nas-jessie but without NAS Kit (I'll only use a external USB HD).
Will it work fine or this OS image need NAS Kit ?

Should work, but without the case you can directly use the OpenMediaVault (OMV ) image for the Neo2:
