Neo2+ Building a recent kernel with working both USB ports

Moderators: chensy, FATechsupport

Hi there,

in the past I tried building sunxi-4.11.y branch and mainline upstream kernel. I have problems with both:
  • sunxi-4.11.y with the kernel .config from the Xenial image has working USB ports
  • sunxi-4.11.y with my modified kernel .config looses one of the two ports, unknown reasons edit: I managed to get it working
  • with mainline kernel never got both USB ports working

Do you guys have advices about building a recent kernel where I could use both USB ports as normal (no OTG)?
Model is: FriendlyElec NanoPi-NEO-Plus2

Thanks

(By the way, it is not possible to search on this forum "usb not working" because it complains they are too common words. What does that even mean...)
