Starting a Nanopi K1 Plus.

Hi,

I've been using Ubuntu for 12 years but I am new to Soc in general and to the Nanopi in particular.

I've purchased a Nanopi K1 Plus. I've downloaded the friendly core xenial image file. I've moved the image file to an SD card (using disks : I am running a Xubuntu 16.04 PC).
When I start the Nanopi, the red led switches on, but there's no green light.
Also, when I plugged in an hdmi screen to the Nanopi, there's nothing on the screen.

What am I doing wrong ?

Any help would be apreciated.

Cheers,
L@u
