NanoPi Neo Air Microphone input kernel 3.4.39

I have a problem with configuring microphone input on NanoPi Neo Air on Ubuntu kernel 3.4.39. I do not see audio capture device. Commad arecord -l gives me only hdmi device, but on board there are also mic pads.
I used the same Nanopi with kernel 4.1 and I have successfully used mic input for audio capture.

Can you please give me a hint where I can enable microphone, so that new capture device will appear?

I can confirm micro capture did worked on the friendlyarm ubuntu image (one year ago) with a kernel 3.4. Sorry I did not stored the release name
