NanoPI R1 internal RTC clock

Dears

The NanoPI R1 design is great. We have a problem however.

We want to use a standard CR2032 battery for RTC clock backup.
However this hardly works and the clock may reset even after short power outage.
We tried many batteries and many R1 boards. And the results are unclear.
Sometimes battery backs up the clocks, sometimes not. And this is not battery fault.
We made sure that the battery voltage is always above 2.9 V, sometimes it is above 3.0V and the clock is not backed up as well.

Friends, do you have any experiences with R1 RTC. Maybe to use rechargeable battery LR2032 ? Maybe some configuration tuning exists ?

Please say something

Hello,

I can confirm.
We did test the same and the results are exactly the same as posted above.
If there is no configuration for the internal RTC is there a way to connect external one at least ?
