NanoPi R1 latest openWRT SQM not working

Moderators: chensy, FATechsupport

Hi Community,

I try to run SQM on the latest OpenWRT release on the NanoPi R1. But it doesn't have any effect. It also does not show the "cake" discipline, just "codel".
A "tc -d qdisc" shows:
RTNETLINK answers: Not supported
Dump terminated

Any ideas?

Best regards

I am also have the same issue.

It appears that the kmod-ifb kernel module can not be loaded due to linux kernel mismatch.

The kernel is 4.14.111 a lot of openwrt kmod packages are build for kernel 4.14.156.

Any one knows if there is a chance to switch the 4.14.y version from 111 to 156?

Cheers!
Here is a stock OpenWrt firmware for R1S H5 with fully working SQM.
WAN to LAN speed is around 31MB/s which is pretty decent I think.
