I cannot tell whether that LCD works with M1.

I did buy (similar) 10$ LCD from FriendlyArm:

But I did not read carefully ("It works with FriendlyARM's NanoPi 2").
Not sure wether that can run with M1 ("Its driver is open source").

Although product page says only for Nanopi 2, that page gives instructions for M1!

Wow!
The Wiki does not state that the LCD works with Nanopi Neo as well -- but it does!

The 24 male pins of Neo suffice for the 26 pin female connector of LCD, the last two seem not to be used.
The LCD does NOT fit well, the ethernet connector is too high, the display has to be mounted sloped.
What is even worse is that the 4th srcew of Neo heatsink is in the way.
Just unscrewing that a bit as seen in photo allows LCD to work.
I used the same SD card that worked on M1 with the Neo.

how did you do that?
which connection diagram did you use?
did you change any pins? or just connect it directly to nano pi m1?
also which image file did you write to sd card to use the LCD?

Just connect directly to the first 26 of the 40 mins of the M1, see the photo.
That is the advantage of buying a FriendlyArm bulit LCD, connection and samples are no problem.

Works with my Nanopi Neo Air as well, after I soldered the headers.

Lego blocks are needed to avoid LCD turn over.

IP shows as 0.0.0.0 because ipex antenna for WLAN has not arrived yet, and connected via minicom over Debug Uart.

Hi,
Can i use this LCD with nano pi.gclub

It looks like you just hooked up the RS-232 lines up to that display is that right and it works like that? I guess have to have power to it too. They don't show it working with the NanoPi Air.

How do you wire it up?
