Adjusting the NanoPi Neo Air transmission power of the Wifi

I would like to reduce the transmission power of the NanoPi Neo Air.
I have already edited the nvram.txt & BRCM.txt files and these have been saved.
However, this has never reduced the transmission power.
I have not found a setting for this in the FriendlyElec Network Manager.
Can someone please help me with this?
