NanoPI NEO + HAT 5102A in I2S

Hi,

I've just bought the NanoPI NEO + Nano HAT 5102A.
I'm using DietPI and ROON and for the moment I didn't plug the NanoHAT but all works like a charm with a DAC connected on the USB output. Even DSD128 in DoP mode are working well 8-)

Now my aims is to avoid the USB output but to use the I2S output of the NanoHAT 5102A. My PSAudio DAC has also an I2S input in LVDS (I2S over HDMI). For that, I've an Audio-GD I2S/HDMI output module.
I'd like to plug the I2S output of the NanoHAT to the Audio-GD module.

Where is the I2S output of the NanoHAT?
Is it different than I2S output of the NanoPI NEO and will I get benefit of the PLL feature of the NanoHAT coming with the 5102A chip ?

Did someone already build such setup ?

Thanks,
Pat

Any help ?
May be to make my question simpler. I thought that the Hat PCM5102A had an I2S output different than the native I2S output of NanoPI Neo.
Is the I2S output on the Hat 5102A a bit reclocked or something similar (PLL treatment) or I was wrong and the I2S output on the Hat 5102A is exactly the same than the I2S output of the NanoPI Neo?

Any way, I'll keep the Hat, I'm sure I'll can use it for another purpose :) . But I sill want to connect the NanoPI in I2S to my DAC.

Hi There,

You can check the NanoPi NEO schematic
