I am trying to connect an ESP8266 (NodeMCU) via USB to an NanoPi NEO. The problem is, that i get a error-messages and cannot using /dev/ttyUSB0 to connect to the ESP8266. The errormessage is the following:

Code: Select all

ehci_irq: highspeed device connect
ehci_irq: highspeed device disconnect

And this is repeating continously. When i connect the ESP8266 to an external power supply, everything is fine. I can connect via NanoPi and picocom. When i try to power ESP8266 over USB of the NanoPi NEO, it does not work. So, the ESP8266 is ok and it should not draw more than 300mA during startup. What is the maximum output power of the NanoPi? Can i improve the output? I dont want to use an additional power supply and normaly it should work without.
