Can't enable I2S on Ubuntu Core 4.11 (Nano Pi Neo Air)

Hi,

I need some help in enabling I2S audio on Ubuntu Core 4.11. It works for Debian 3.4 but now I want to set up my Nano Pi Air with Ubuntu 4.11 and I don't get it working.

Some information on internet say that you need to edit the script.bin configuration file. Unfortunately there is no script.bin file ...

Any idea? The nano-pi configuration menu says "unsupported in 4.11".

Regards
Bernhard

I had the same problem with my NanoPi NEO. Actually, npi-config was giving the same "Unsupported by Linux-4.11.2 Kernel" error for any "advance setting" (every serial protocol). I put my SD card out. Put a new card with fresh Linux 4.11.2 Kernel image. It didn't work again. Then I put my old SD card back and I was able to enable I2S and others.

Try couple of different, random solutions. I think you'll be able to enable them afterwards. Although, I enabled I2S via npi-config, I can't get any clk signal from the I2S bus. So, it still does NOT work!
