Armbian for Neo2 - first stable test build with 4.13.5

After months of hard work, Armbian has come out with first stable test image (CLI or desktop) with a modern kernel 4.13.5. Welcome to check out what and how it works. Beware that (minor) troubles are still expected - but now we would like to hunt them. If you don't want to receive daily updates and risk freezing, freeze kernel updating in armbian-config. Detailed info about what was done and what are still limitations is under construction. Test images for other similar boards will follow when becoming ready.

This means the nanopi-neo2_debian-core-jessie_4.11.0_20170428.img is now completly dead (image isnt available anymore with direct link)?

Is the 4.13.5 Kernel mainline stable as this old testing?
Thanks now for trouble-hunting My Neo2 was quite useful with the old version - now I will try the new one

Yes, this should be stable but what is more important - it comes with long-term support. Updates to firmware come standard Debian way.

I am not sure everything is working perfectly since this is usually seen when you work with it for weeks. We didn't put this image through our regular testing process yet. That's why it's named "test build" and it's probably the best what's possible at the moment.

I downloaded "Armbian_5.34.171031_Nanopineoplus2_Ubuntu_xenial_next_4.13.10.7z" and flashed it on a Sandisk micro sd card with Etcher. Unfortunately neo2plus does not boot. After removing the micro-sd card the board boots normally (Friendlyarm's Ubuntu on emmc).
Should I try a different image?

Nanopi Neo Plus2 is different board and it works partially with normal Neo2 image.
