bare metal project

hello guys
i recently purchased a nanopi m1
i know that i can install an os on it (linux,android)
but i only want to use the board in a simple application
thus it is a bare metal project
the issue is i do not know where to start
i have a small experience in programming pic microcontroller but this is my first time with ARM processors
i alredy visited the wiki: http://wiki.friendlyarm.com/wiki/index. ... #Resources
and downloaded the lichee source code and the gnu toolchain but i do not understand everything
maybe i need to learn some subjects first
