Build the firmware from sources for Neo

Are there instruction for building the sources for the Neo ?
I would like to use make menu to add it more features.
I am looking for easy to follow instructions like this page here.

Note that kernel 4.9 is not yet working properly ... 3.4.113 is working just fine, within Debian Jessie or Ubuntu Xenial, etc.
