NanoPi M1 use GPU acseleration in Chromium

On the friendlyelec website, the OS images for Nano Sim 1 Plus do not contain a GPU driver (Mali400MP2@600MHz in the H3 core)
The wiki mentions that Linux-3.4 distributions have GPU support, but no one of the 3.4 images started working on my NanoPi M1 board.
I want the Chromium browser to enable hardware graphics acceleration. Which Linux image should I install for this?
