What could be the reason?
I connect NanoPi A64 and it does not turn on. Only the green LED is on. On the CD installed ubuntu mate.
When you turn on the processor does not heat up at all.

Is it possible to know what's the reason through Uart?

You could try a different OS-Image on you uSD-Card if the NanoPi A64 doenst recognize the OS on the actual uSD-Card:

The CPU doenst get hot - as I did think before and did buy the big heat-sink.
Only a small heat-sink is working for me with the image in the thread above.

Yes - if you connect a USB-TTL-serial-adapter you could see more where the failure is (maybe a bad uSD-Card or using the wrong imager software? Try to use Etcher, USB-IT or win32diskimager)
