rtl8812au (netis wf2190) install on ubuntu core 3.14.29

Moderators: chensy, FATechsupport

Hello,

I'm trying to install rtl8812au drivers to run my netis WF2190 Wirelesss network card and have big problems with that.

I tried:
1. Upgrade ubuntu_core from 3.14.29 to sth 4.4.x - no luck because using aptitude and install linux-generic and dependencies process stucked saying root device not found.

2. Install from dkms - no kernel sources found and it's already in dkms repository

3. Trying to install from source of drivers given by manufacturer Support Ubuntu-16.04/4.4.0

http://www.netis-systems.com/Suppory/de ... de/96.html

so downloaded drivers, unpacked chmod a+x install.sh -> so run it with sudo ./install.sh

Ther result is:
Authentication requested [root] for make driver:
make ARCH=aarch64 CROSS_COMPILE= -C /lib/modules/3.14.29/build M=/home/pi/RTL8812AU_linux_v4.3.20_16317_20160108/driver/rtl8812AU_linux_v4.3.20_16317.20160108 modules
