K116E Linux driver

Moderators: chensy, FATechsupport

So I got the k116e and it works great under Android. But I would like to use it under a Linux distribution that is not friendly desktop. I was wanting to use it with armbian or something of the sort. I have looked around and cannot seem to find a driver for the screen provided by friendlyelec. Any help acquiring the driver would be much appreciated thank you.
According to the web page for this, it is supported under Ubuntu.

As this is supported under Android, you could get the source for u-boot and find the settings for this display and then find a suitable Linux display driver and make changes to it.

I also found the timing information in panel-friendlyelec.c in the kernel directory for the Android source build.
