PCI-e Header on the NEO4

Moderators: chensy, FATechsupport

Hello,

Very nice board and price!

I want to make a board for the header, but I cannot find the PCI-e reset pin and PCI-e Clock request pins.
Do I need to route a GPIO for these pins in the DTS file of the kernel? In the datasheet of the chip I can find:

GPIO2_D2/SDIO0_DETN/PCIE_CLKR EQN
GPIO4_D0/PCIE_CLKREQNB

But those are not on the header with that name, and the pci-e reset pin is not used in the datasheet,.

Thanks

Herman
Tech support:

Hi,

Pci-e reset pin and pci-e Clock request pins. It is not necessary. Our internal test found that none of the PCIe adapter CARDS must have these two signals to work.
As for whether DTS can set a pin to achieve pci-e reset and pci-e Clock request, we did not conduct in-depth research.
