Hi, I'm trying to do an always online video conference room with a tv display. I've set up jitsi-meet with chromium in a raspberry pi 3, but the video lagged a lot.

- Do you thing M4 will perform well with a conference involving 5 people?
- There's enough support to usb cameras (e.g. Logitech ones) and it is just plug it, install armbian, xserver... working out of the box as in a rpi, or will I need to compile uv4l myself and so?

2) kernel from M4's FriendlyDesktop (ubuntu 18.04/arm64) have support for (at least) some USB cameras (Genius eye 320se in my case). In case of Armbian it can be different. also it looks like it's a bug to support more than one USB camera via V4L.
1) performance in many cases 2-3 higher than pri3 - but hard to say exactly, is it enough for your case or not.

PS: RPI3 inside have USB-to-Ethernet adapter, which may affect your lags with USB cameras in case, if you use cable network
