Nano Pi M4 Arch Linux

Hey guys I made a post over on the Arch ARM forum for some advice and have come across a problem that maybe someone here can help me with. I would love to get Arch installed on my M4 and have so far managed to compile the following.
So I've made a little progress with this project. I have managed to compile the following for the rk3399.
boot.img
MiniLoaderAll.bin
misc.img
oem.img
parameter.txt
recovery.img
rootfs.img
trust.img
uboot.img
userdata.img
Now what I am confused about is the next step. Apparently you would flash this to the rock device with the upgrade tool. Which I cannot get working. Am I right in thinking I can now some how mix what I've made with the 'General' ARM8 linux?
Any help or advice would be gratefully recieved.
