so what am I supposed to do with them once they are attached to the board and you want to use the metal enclosure?

I feel like I'm missing something obvious, do they just flop there with the one halfway sticking out the hole and the other one with a bit of extra slack?

how do you get the proper rabbit ear looking ones that are in the pictures on the product page?

What I do is purchase some ULF to SMA cable assemblies and also an external 2.4Ghz antenna with SMA connection.

You can then install these in the metal box. I see that the box on the website has 2 blanked off ports for this.

I bought the correct antenna cable/connectors and adjustable black antennas to fit my metal case, You have to fit them to the holes in the case the correct way or you cannot close the case fully.

Also i bought insulating tape "Kapton Tape" to cover the pcb around the antenna motherboard as i needed to reverse the leads and i did not want to short out my motherboard.

Any questions just ask.
