Clone emmc

Moderators: chensy, FATechsupport

Greetings,
I presently have a perfectly configured M4 using the EMMC. I now need to replicate this over many more M4s. Is there anyway to clone the configured emmc and burn it onto the other M4 emmc cards? That way I only have to change a few setting on each one like IP Address, ports, etc. If I had used a SD Card that would have been simple but it was decided that we should use the emmc instead.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am no expert with Linux but how about using the dd command to copy the emmc to an SD card?

I recently did this to replicate my SSD onto the HDD as a backup. Not sure about emmc but pretty sure that should work.

it's a MicroSD to eMMC adapter in official store
As above. SD to EMMC adaptor. Read EMMC, write several times.

The EMMC card appears as an SD to Windows or Linux :geek: :)

You can also use it in reverse and plug the EMMC card into a Raspberry Pi SD slot. It works but in that configuration there is no advantage over a modern SD in terms of speed. Card reader too slow.
