neo4 kernels

I'm having problems when I hook up some cameras, I get kernel crashes...errors, etc.

I'm running Linux NanoPi-NEO4 4.4.167 #1 SMP Fri Jul 12 17:32:47 CST 2019 aarch64 aarch64 aarch64 GNU/Linux
which came from
rk3399-sd-friendlycore-bionic-4.4-arm64-20190718.img

I would like to run a "new release" -- but I'll take an older release...

I see there are modules for:

pi@NanoPi-NEO4:~$ du -s -h /lib/modules/*
13M /lib/modules/4.4.143
57M /lib/modules/4.4.154
56M /lib/modules/4.4.167

But where is the kernel stored? (I don't see it on any of the partitions on the sdcard). I don't see any kernels
for 4.4.154.

Hi Marty ,
In "normal" pc distro's they are in the boot map in the root .
