NanoPi M4 SATA HAT GPIO1 used?

Moderators: chensy, FATechsupport

Hi,
as the tower of the NanoPi M4 + Heat spreader + SATA HAT + cables on top are getting too high, I would like to separate the SATA HAT from the NanoPi M4 device and to mount it 180 degrees rotated. Therefore my question, wheter any pin of GPIO1 is used by SATA HAT or is it enough to extend GPIO2 (2-3 cm)?

Does someone has experience with an extension cable of SATA HAT's GPIO2 connector?

As you can see above, GPIO1 is used to provide power to main M4 board.
Hi,

this sounds good. Does it mean, that just + 5V and ground needs to be connected in addition to GPIO2 ?

Would I get problems with a 2-3 cm extension cable of GPIO2 ?
