Hi I have an NanoPi M4V2 with SATA hat, was trying to access a SATA drive from andriod,,. can this be done ? So far no joy for me, it works well with Armbian.

Should be fine. I have a 2TB hard drive with Linux partitions from a x86_64 system connected to the SATA hat.
