I am currently using the M4v2 with dual cam1320. I am able to get both cameras working in android with autofocus. In ubuntu I have only managed to get a static focus at infinity to work.

For my vision project its important to manually control the camera focus for each camera and to prevent it from shifting around since the cameras have to be calibrated for their specific focus settings. Since the motor inside the camera moves the lens during autofocus in android all the hardware to support manual focus seems to exist.

Does anyone know if there is any way or workaround in any OS right now to manually control the focus of the cameras? Are there any plans to add this functionality in software (e.g. some degree of camera2 API support in android or an updated linux driver that lets me set focus)?
