Non operational NanoPC-T4

Moderators: chensy, FATechsupport

Hi,
I recently received my new NanoPC-T4,.

Despite many attempts I have been unable to get anything running, the power LED glows red, the green LED has never come on. I have tried different SD card images and connected successfully via USB C in MASKROM mode, but get faced with many errors when attempting to use the tool.

There is no video output but I have managed to attach to the serial debug port, output from attempted boot as follows:

At this point it just hangs.

Any ideas of next steps?
UPDATE: I have made some progress getting images onto the T4 by using another PC, originally I was using a VM on my Macbook, seems you need a physical PC to get the tools to work correctly.

Still not booting into a usable state though.
I have 2 NanoPC-T4 and I used eflasher from the SD card to program the emmc. Works without fail.

I used Win32DiskImager to create the SD card from the image downloaded from the FA website. I've installed Ubuntu as a test but currently using Android 8.1 on them.

You u-boot shows that it can't find the boot partition for the OS you have installed. Others indicate that the emmc was not properly formatted.

Can you try loading the board from the SD card?

Yes, booting from eflasher SD card has got the unit operational, now up and running on lubuntu image :)
