I have installed friendly desktop on a rk3399 v2 devkit. It boots to a blank screen.
Some debugging steps I have done:
1. switching to a console and running startx gives an error 'xinit: connection to x server lost'
2. i was able to connect to wifi from the command line and through a bunch of steps install the normal ubuntu desktop environment. after this, i was able to do startx, but performance was terrible and unusable. I'm guessing it was using framebuffer and not accelerated graphics.
To flash, i used the latet 'rk3399-eflasher-friendlydesktop-bionic-4.4-arm64-20200409.img.zip', wrote it to an sd card, booted, flashed, removed sd card, then rebooted.
Am I doing something wrong?
