SOM-RK3399 Record HDMI input audio

Moderators: chensy, FATechsupport

Hi,

I can use gstreamer to record video from hdmi input.
But I can't figure out how can I record audio.

I followed the pdf schematic from wiki page http://wiki.friendlyarm.com/wiki/images/d/de/SOM-RK3399_Dev_Kit_1904_Schematic.pdf

The digital audio signal is linked from TC358749XBG (hdmi input chip) to ALC5651 audio codec at it's second i2s port.
I don't think there is a digital mixer path to send this signal to the processor.
Can anyone confirm if this is correct?

Thank you
Not yet,

Maybe this cannot be done on Development Board. The only solution I can think is to design my own board and redirect the signal to an i2s port of the controller.
