Booting via SATA

Moderators: chensy, FATechsupport

Installed a m.2 sata adapter in the dev unit and linux sees it so I know the os supports the card.

Trying to find any info on how to get unit to boot directly off sata. Found other boards have a spi flash with petitboot on them to support this. Does this board have a way to support this feature.

We are looking to do this because were installing a raidon sata unit that we would like for redundancy.

You need to check the bootloader or firmware settings on the motherboard, as they may support booting from SATA. :D
