FriendlyARM NanoPi M4 RK3399 not booting

Hi,

I'm trying to install LibreElec on FriendlyARM NanoPi M4 RK3399 but I'm not seeing anything boot.
When powering the device nothing happens - no LEDs, no HDMI output.

I am certain that the device is functional - it was running Armbian just before and I've also successfully installed DietPi.
Help is appreciated!
Thanks in advance

It sounds like the boot process might be failing. You can check:
Verify the Image: Ensure the LibreELEC image is specifically built for RK3399 and compatible with the NanoPi M4.
Reflash the SD Card: Try using tools like Etcher or Rufus to flash the image again.
Check Power Supply: Confirm your power supply provides stable 5V/3A, as the RK3399 can be power-hungry.
Reset and Recovery: Try holding the MaskROM or Recovery button (if available) during boot to force recovery mode.
Serial Console: Connect a USB-to-TTL adapter to monitor serial output for more insight into boot issues.
If none of these work, consider testing with a minimal Linux image to ensure the hardware is still functional.

Make sure the LibreElec image is compatible and correctly flashed. Check the microSD or eMMC connection, use a reliable power adapter, and try accessing UART for debug messages.
Hope this helps.

If there's no LED or HDMI output, it might be:
Image Compatibility: Ensure the LibreELEC image supports NanoPi M4.
SD Card Issue: Try reflashing using balenaEtcher or Rufus.
Power Supply: Confirm it's providing stable power.
Hardware Check: Connect via UART for debug messages.
Hope this helps.
