What's the status of Lubuntu?

Thinking of buying a NanoPC-T4 but I'm wondering how well the Lubuntu image is running. Does everything work as expected? What's currently broken? What about stuff like GPIO?

Is there any support from forum moderators at all? I see this unanswered questions in here but nobody to answer it. Does FriendlyELEC provide support to community?

Lubuntu installs ok, but the Time and Date as well as Users and Groups control panels do not. Also the software update panels does not either.
