Sorry, I am a newbie!

I asked a question on askubuntu.com and they put my question on halt because it is not a question about ubuntu. So Friendly Desktop is not ubuntu. From this forum I do not get answers. So who will answer such simple questions like How to change keyboard layout?
If it is not ubuntu - what is it? Where to go?
Please help!

It is Ubuntu, just not an official build. Use Google and generic Ubuntu manual. It should mostly work.
